Some bands I came across at Glasgowbury. Part 1.
Hailing from Lisburn, Mojo Fury (mojoFURY) have been kicking around since 2004 but only last year, expanded to a four piece.
Their musical style has been described as "alternative rock" with "progressive" and "hardcore" influence, and have been compared to NIN, Queens of the Stone Age and Nirvana.
To date, the band have toured all over the country and supported the likes of Biffy Clyro, InMe, Two Door Cinema Club and The Cooper Temple Clause. Their most recent album, "Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus" was released on March 14, 2011, they've also just finished touring as support to "And So I Watch You From Afar" in the UK, that along with playing many summer festivals this year, the boys are set to be busy!
At the end of April 2010, the band advertised an 'early album version' of "Deep Fish Tank (Factory Settings)" on bandcamp (available as a free download).
