A bootlegged copy of the J.J. Abrams film Super 8 that has shown up on illegal download sites was copied from a disc created for radio shock jock Howard Stern.

The pirated copy of the film was stamped in the right-hand corner with a watermark that says "H Stern" but the Sirius XM DJ says he and his co-workers have already been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Paramount Pictures contacted show producer Gary Dell'Abate weeks ago but Stern says the disc must have been copied before it reached him.

“I watch it at home. It doesn’t leave my hands," Stern said this morning on his radio show.

“Nobody gets it. Nobody can see. I bring it right back...I don't pass it around to anyone. Ever...It had nothing to do with me.”

“Howard is talking about the Super 8 screener controversy. He's embarrassed that this makes him look bad,” his show's official Twitter feed added earlier today.

Titanic II sinks on maiden voyage

A boat called Titanic II lived up to her name – and sank on her maiden voyage.

Just like the doomed luxury liner 99 years ago, the 16ft cabin cruiser sprang a leak and rapidly started taking on water.

Horrified owner Mark Wilkinson was left clinging to the side as his pride and joy disappeared beneath the waves – without an iceberg in sight.

Bemused holidaymakers looked on while Mark, from Birmingham, was flung a life belt and finally dragged out of the drink by the local harbour master.

The multi-talented Cheryl Cole has managed to juggle her X Factor judging responsibilities with divorcing her philandering husband and that nasty bout of malaria and produce a second solo album just in time for the lucrative "Now, performing her latest single on X Factor's Sunday night results show..." time of year.

Messy Little Raindrops, released on November 1, will be preceded by the single 'Promise This' on October 25.

The record features 11 tracks and includes collaborations with Travie McCoy on the song 'Yeah Yeah', August Rigo on 'Better To Lie' and Dizzee Rascal on the track 'Everybody, Everyone'.

It was recently announced that the X Factor judge's next single to be lifted from the LP is called 'The Flood'.

All Days or Nights is Wainwright's first release since the death of his mother, folk singer Kate McGarrigle, who died from cancer in January 2010.[5] While Wainwright is known for lush orchestrations and arrangements, this album contains piano and voice work,[6] with nine original songs as well as three adaptations of William Shakespeare's sonnets ("Sonnet 10", "Sonnet 20", and "Sonnet 43").

CocoRosie - Grey Oceans (May 11th 2010)

"CocoRosie are two American-born sisters, Sierra and Bianca, who started making music together in Paris in 2003. Their first album, La Maison de Mon Rêve, was released in 2004 and their second album, Noah’s Ark, followed in 2005. Their third and, to now, most recent album, The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn, came out in 2007. All three of these albums were released worldwide on Touch and Go Records and earned positive critical acclaim both overseas and at home.

The nomadic duo (currently and temporarily residing in New Mexico) spent much of 2008 writing and recording in Buenos Aires, Melbourne, Berlin, New York, and Paris, finding amazing and diverse musicians to collaborate along the way. The result is their 11-song Sub Pop debut, Grey Oceans, due out May 11th, 2010."
