The Limousines

The Limousines are an Electropop band based in the Bay Area, California. The band consists of songwriter and vocalist Eric Victorino, and multi-instrumentalist and producer Giovanni Giusti. The band has had comparisons drawn with MGMT.

Victorino, who had previously performed with rock band Strata, stated that he was “tired of band politics” and “needed another outlet, one that wasn’t quite as dark and heavy”. Giusti and Victorino started the Limousines after communicating online and exchanged lyrics, music and recorded vocals online.

EVERYONE needs some Dragonette in their life :)Dragonette are a part-Canadian part-British electropop music band. They are currently signed to Mercury UK. They originally formed in Toronto, Canada in 2005.

The band is made up of Canadian singer Martina Sorbara, her husband Dan Kurtz, a brazilian that has lived in Canada since he was 4 years old, Joel Stouffer and Will Stapleton (who replaced original guitarist Simon Craig following the band’s move to London).

Hipiddy hop Happy Australia Day!

Drapht is a solo hip-hop MC from Perth, Western Australia. He released Pale Rider in 2003 and it was warmly received in Perth’s relatively small hip-hop scene. In 2005, he released Who Am I? which was also well received by fans and critics. He is affiliated with SBX crew, AYEMS crew and has collaborated with Downsyde, Pressure of Hilltop Hoods, and Perth artist Layla.

I really like this video!

Why? Because this is just gloriously silly and just goes to show that if you are bored, buy some space hoppers, grab a camera and create something like this. Or not.

Shelley Jones and Marko Anstice took it upon themselves to brighten up what otherwise could have been a dull old day by doing just that. What was it Oscar Wilde once said, that youth was wasted on the young? I think he may just have approved of this cavalcade of daftness.
