Beck and Devendra Banhart have collaborated on a track for Todd Solonz’ latest film Life During Wartime. The lyrics were written by Solonz while the song was actually written by composer Marc Shaiman. Beck produced and sang backing vocals and obviously, that Devendra singing the main part. It sounds like a good opening song to a, if Solonz films is anything to go by (hello paedophile black comedy Happiness which this film follows up), the calm before the storm.
