Belfasts Finest
The Lowly Knights are based in Belfast, and offer up hearty ramshackle folk tunes.
They have shared the stage with The Divine Comedy, Mumford & Sons, Port O’Brien, Duke Special, Iain Archer, Matthew & The Atlas, Frightened Rabbit, and on a number of dates as support for Snow Patrol on their recent UK arena tour.
The Knights’ first two recordings, “The Rifles EP” and “The Hollow EP” were critically acclaimed. Music magazine Alternative Ulster voted “Devotion” one of their top 50 Northern Irish songs of the last 5 years. Their third release, “The Even Keel EP”, was released in October 2010 and claims to be “bigger and bolder” than ever.
